Traffic in Camden

The residents’ association has been concerned for many years about the volume of traffic in Camden, especially along Camden Road.  This is particularly heavy at peak times: 7.30-9.30 am and 4.00-6.30 pm.

As the only East-West alternative to the very congested London Road, Camden Road and the streets feeding into it are vulnerable to rat running.  Pollution also spikes at peak times, and the residents’ association is trying to address these issues.

A meeting was held in January 2017, attended by a number of Camden residents.

If you are interested in getting involved in any work to tackle congestion and pollution in the area, please contact Julie Platt, mail@julieplatt.co.uk  or Janet Anderson, janetandtonyanderson@talktalk.net
